Question: I want to group a number of GL Accounts into one parent account for reporting purpose. How can I do it?
Before we do the grouping, make sure you have open the sub accounts in the system.
1. Go to Accounts > Account Reporting Groups
2. For example, I want to do account grouping for depreciation accounts. Look for the accounts and tick the accounts.
3. Click on green 'Group Account' wording to open a new pop-up screen. Select 'Add Account Report Group', type the name of parent account (in this case, Depreciation) and click Save/Add.
